Welcome to Sugar Valley Collective

Sugar Valley Collective is a multi-generation creative business run by us sisters, Natasha and Nadia, and our dad, Greg. As long as we, the sisters, can remember, we’ve created as a family and we’ve continued to do so in this collective. Many of our products are one-of-a-kind or made in small batches. Our three collections have clearly defined differences but come together under one mission: to spread love and justice through art.

Sugar Valley Apothecary

Nadia Drake, Owner & Creator

Find art prints, cards, apparel, and more in this educator-owned collection. Plus, 20% of the proceeds from purchases are donated back to local nonprofit organizations, which means you can make an impact with each purchase.

Survivors Apothecary

Natasha Drake, Owner & Creator

Founded by a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault, this collection exists to support other trauma survivors on their journeys to healing. The pieces in this collection have been made with loving intentions, inspired by therapy sessions (think comfy clothes and items that aid in healing). With each purchase, you support the trauma survivor behind this collection and 10% of the proceeds support other trauma survivors.

Duck’s Wood & Things

Greg Drake, Owner & Creator

This collection is all about breathing new life into wood, metal, and other salvaged items through upcycling, recycling, and repurposing. Operating on a 100-year-old Midwest Farm, Duck’s Wood & Things combines the best of the past and present by handmaking heirloom-quality furniture, decor, home goods, snarky signs, and more.

Partnering with Nonprofits

We love to partner with nonprofit organizations to give back to communities and causes we believe in through sales proceeds. If you’d like to learn more or discuss partnering with us, please send an email to sugarvalleyapothecarydsm@gmail.com.
